Jelly Bean Prayer

One of the common Easter traditions I wanted to give a “redo” was the traditional Jelly Bean Prayer. It’s a creative idea to use Jelly Beans to tell a story, but the traditional one focuses on the darkness of one’s heart and the red blood of Jesus. This prayer is found in Faithful Families for Lent, Easter, and Resurrection by Traci Smith. Chalice Press; 2022. Used with permission.
